| Champagne De L'Argentaine The vineyard covers 180 hectares on the Marne Valley in the Champagne region of France, some 120km from Paris. It is planted with 3 type of vine. The Champagne mark of Argentaine dates from 1974. So proud is the house that it regularly opens to the public with a number of exclusive services. Their "Day out at Champagne" features a visit of approximately 45 minutes to the cellars, the press and the fermenting room, and also allows the visitor to actually go out and gather the grapes, sampling them from the vine, before going for lunch in the vast reception rooms and tasting a special selection of 4 different vintage Champagnes. This allows you to truly experience the difference between different vintages for yourself. There are four distinct varieties of Champagne de L'Argentaine. These are: • Brut Tradition • Rosé Brut • Brut Réserve Spéciale • Brut Millésime 1997 For information on the Argentaine region click here. For information on the Methode Champenoise, click here. |
